World Book Encyclopedia: The World Book Encyclopedia online, updated daily, with more maps and links! A great place to start any project.
EBSCO: A magazine and newspaper database. Great for current events and most research projects.
Visual Thesaurus: All about vocabulary. A great site about words and their relationships. Good for all subject areas.

6th grade: This month we have completed orientation and SRI testing for all 6th grade language arts’ classes.
7th grade: Also completed SRI testing
8th grade: The 8th grade Social Studies classes have been working on research skills and Native American research. Mrs. Gooding’s classes have also been working on book selection skills and have started their biography unit. Mrs. Drozda’s classes have been working on Non-fiction Friday research. All language arts classes have also completed SRI testing.
